hello, I was wondering if anyone had info about the history of the AIDA marketing model? I've found references to AIDA as a 19th century term, but have had a difficult time finding substantiation.

anyone have some info or sources to recommend?

Gee, I guess no one's interested in AIDA anymore.

I thought provenmodels.com was a pretty cool site. I appreciate their thoroughness. Too bad they review so few models.

the hierachy of effects model [AIDA] was apparently coined by St Elmo Lewis in 1898
