80% failure rate

Japan is not for the timid. It's hard. It's so serious it's crazy and so crazy you can't take it seriously. It's simple and sophisticated.

An exciting and mystical land of contradiction and conformity where yes means no.

There are tons of challenges. Most people don't speak English even in Tokyo.

It ain't like Kansas and approximately 80% of ex-pats do not make it past the three year mark. It ain't Hong Kong or Singapore, either.

But for some it becomes the place they want to stay longer than their original assignment and you'd be surprised how many folks end up there forever.

OK OK, I'm interested- now what?

For a confidential discussion, please send your resume with a note that explains a little bit about yourself and why this sounds so interesting

to info@sector5.jp with the subject "Japan Planning Director." If you make it really interesting we'll get back to you faster. If you're a great

planner with a great personality and you've been with great agencies and on great brands and part of great teams and have a really sexy resume

and you convince us you're perfect for the job we'll get back to you even faster.

Please note:

We try to get back to everyone but if we don't do so

immediately it usually means we just didn't know of a good match right now but will keep you on our radar for future opportunities.

Or we just forgot.
