I know this is exactly what CP+B would like but someone I know was praising its 'sheer strategic brilliance' which I am obviously immune to so thought I might ask others what they think.

it's a nice little campaign... i think it will come and go as most americans feel their taste credentials are superior to these random people from around the world.... also, the tone of it doesn't seem on par with The King and the like
it feels slightly wrong - but at the same time all Crispin cares about is getting people to talk about stuff. show me the press release is apparently the mantra
A point of leverage for BK is taste. The campaign does a great job of driving home on that point in a very unique way... I mean, what better way to compare than with tabula rosa?
The campaign itself shows its brilliance primarily through the bringing together of that comparison.
Whopper Virgins most certainly feels a tad off message with current stuff...
More odd is that it feels somewhat like a dated comparison strategy, but as we all know what is old will become new if we wait long enough.
AND, Faris, I agree: Crispin is a total buzz chaser, but none of us can argue that it's working for them.
;)
