About Me:
I have been teaching planning for the past seven years, first at the VCU Adcenter and now at the Academy of Art in San Francisco.

Prior to that I had a long career in advertising, marketing and PR on both the agency and client sides. I am particularly concerned with the role of companies in society and how advertising agencies can lead change rather than be a mouthpiece for unconscious growth by its clients.

In August 06, I moved to CA after 41 years in Richmond. It was the fulfillment of a 17 year dream to live on the West Coast. Now, I am working on building a new planning curriculum at the Academy, writing children's books and planning some other new ventures!
