Known to some as Tejen Desai. He is an Interactive & Engagement Director at Lowe MENA. With over 14 years of experience, an avid raconteur of consumer-engagement & brand-building strategies. Curious about new-age media and all things innovative & interactive, he believes ‘Engagement & Experience’ are the new ‘Art & Copy’ and so endeavors to develop work that is designed to connect people with brands in innovative ways.
In his previous role as Regional Group Account Director @LoweMENA on Unilever business, he facilitated development of award-winning work on brands such as Close Up and Axe. Prior to this, he spent a year and a half with DDB Dubai, running the Friesland Foods and The Clorox Co businesses for the region. Though a short stint, he helped develop exceptional work which eventually won several awards, including The Effies.
The preceding 9 years were spent in Mumbai at agencies such as McCann Erickson, Lowe Lintas and DraftWorldwide. His experience pans across industries, from telecom with brands like Tata Indicom and Hutchison Telecom to FMCG giants like J&J, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, and Evian to name a few.
