I am not a planner but I play one on TV. I'm an anthropologist who studies contemporary culture: the meaning makers: advertising, marketing, music, movies, blogs, networks, etc and the meanings made: the constructed self, brand, community, corporation. So, I'm interested in what happens at the intersection of economics and anthropology, the point of contact between commerce and culture. I teach ethnography and anthropology, and practice both of these as a consultant.
I'm a long-time admirer of your work. Thank you. It's been inspirational, and helpful.
One day, I would like to meet you. In fact, I'd like nothing more than to be able to attend or enroll in one of your classes. Until then... (Oh, and btw...I tend to agree with you about Rapaille.)
All the best!
