About Me:
I cant remember what my job title is these days comms planner this strategist that. I just love finding things out about people / businesses / things on the street and anything else that passes me by. This is evidently true in my love for travelling. Seeing how people in other countries do the same things interests me. I love music and also photography. I love and miss the beach....beer and food are also high on the agenda

Hi Michael! My name is Mariana, I´m from Buenos Aires-Argentina. I am studying the "Strong beer" market and consumers. Principally its opportunities and threats in launching a beer with that positioning (+5%alcohol).I was wondering if you could make me just a comment about how you see & feel this subcategory (strong beer) in England´s and or Australia´s beers market. Or probably just tell me if in England (and Australia if you can!) the subcategories are more likely to be "light beers", or "stout", (or whatever), and it is not at all likely for a "strong beer" subcategory to emerge, or have market share at all.
It just for me to have more knowledge or your vision, since I need ti stydy this more globally.
Thanks!!!
Regards,
Mariana

Portland doesn't have blizzards, you don't know what you're talking about. And thanks for the note: I AM a nice girl. :)

I enjoyed looking at your beer label pics on flickr (damn all these net sites you can post stuff on). I am in love with labels and beer. my fingers are crossed that I get to work with lots of clients in this industry.

I was caught in a blizzard last time I was in Portland so I didnt really get out to see the cultural sites

Cool about the CP stuff. Collaboration is the key.... 2 heads are better than one and all that

being a visual person is good. That site you linked to seems pretty cool, i've got it bookmarked now. Thanks! Check out the 3 pics I posted on my page here, I found them the other day in Portland--great city for art.

Also, thanks for the rant on connections planning. I get it. I just don't want the holistic integrity of planning/strategy to be fragmented to the point that each feels separate from the other. I think planning needs to explain the big picture in the end. I still have a lot to learn. :)
