Also, I'm continuing to Tumble...

Considering that I haven't been using this space all too frequently to really discuss captivating insights about consumer culture, I direct you to another form of social media sharing which is probably a more appropriate means to share content.

Tumblr is basically a way to share stuff. That's it. It incorporates into most browsers and when you find something that catches your attention, you click the button, add a short commentary (if you want to) and click post. It all goes into your "tumble log" and creates a mini timeline of surfing habits. It can also be used in a similar fashion to twitter just to post updates to life in general.

For those who enjoyed the "friday fun day," this could be like "everyday fun day" if I surf enough... though my summer of worthlessness is coming to an end next week.

I'm a huge fan of Weezer and a huge addict to social media. When I saw this video posted on Paul Isakson's blog, I nearly shat myself.

Well... not really. But I thought it was cool.

Interesting how YouTube stars are working their way into the real mainstream pop-culture now. Not that they weren't already embedded, but I'm thinking of examples such as this music video and the South Park episodes, two forms of media that are traditional, which have incorporated characters from online media.

Not that I have been posting anything anyway... but I saw a comment today that made me realize that at least one person reads this blog and cares enough to tell me to remove it if I'm not going to update it.

I'm just too busy to sit down and think. T-minus one week left of school and I have 4 major projects/papers to complete. So, I'm officially announcing a hiatus on the blog until after school is out.
