well, actually, i love stereotypes and cliches and what have you... i even put a 5 minute video presentation on how to sell an elephant (i wonder if you know the elephant book joke...) to different countries as part of my account planner's portfolio...
Siberia definitely was a bad good place - no desire to go out with 32 below zero, lots of books to read...
nice meeting you...
so, how is life at Saatchi?
From the clichés I know about Siberia, that would be a great way to spend some meaningful time, but what do I know ;-)...

talking about destroying childhoods - i studied Ancient Roman History in Siberia... absurd or surreal (you being in Brussels with Magritte and all that would appreciate the surrealist streak...)
i enjoyed reading your brief life story though,

Where do you work?
Saatchi & Saatchi Brussels
About Me:
Born in 1975, I effectively destroyed part of my childhood by studying psychology (fortunately, my major was consumer psychology and I managed to save a part, I can tell you it was a lot more fun than grop or school psychology).
After studies and internships with both Censydiam (research) and Quattro (then DMB&B) I went on to get an MBA in marketing management at the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management school (more childhood destruction).
I stuck around Vlerick for another year researching interactive marketing and communication, and teaching the same subjects (do you see a trend here?).
Finally realising that the academic future was not for me (could have figured that out 7 years before) I regained part of his childish interests while working as a brand strategist for The Reference.
Today he puts his curiosity at work for Saatchi & Saatchi Brussels where he is head of strategy, where he has been since 2002.
What I'm interested in:
Snow (combined with mountains, preferably) , books, graphic novels (or comics or whatever you want to call it), music (broad range, and like to actively experiment myself), advertising, youth culture, games, trendwatching, travelling, looking at people, wondering about people, thinking about ideas and where they come from, being curious in general...
