I've just finished to read "How To Use Twitter for Business" e-Book. It is a very useful Twitter Guide - released by HubSpot - I'd like to share with anyone of you interested in setting up an effective Twitter strategy for business.

Since it is a "Beginner's Guide" it starts from the basics, introducing a quick Twitter Vocabulary and explaining how to create and optimize both your Twitter company account and your personal profile. It also recommends the types of tweets you should twitting about for your business and suggests how to find the right people to follow using TwitterGrader and TwitterSearch.

The third chapter of the e-Book is focused on Twitter for Business; basically, it unfolds advices on

• How to use Twitter for Marketing (drive people on your website, monitor your brand, list your company testimonials, promote events and new tools,
  
• How to use Twitter for Public Relations (develop relationship with influentials and media people and watch for editorial opportunities)
• How to use Twitter for Customer Service.

The last part of the e-Book covers how to analyze and track your Twitter campaign and some recommended metrics to use, such as:

• Reach (total number of Followers)
• Response Rate (average number of @replies per tweet)
• Branding and Awareness (how often people reference your company or products)
• Twitter Grader (for your overall effectiveness)
• Sales Funnel (number of visitors from Twitter who visit your company website)
