global brand is what we need to make of 'em...many such brands many people hadn't heard of till about a couple of years ago...by invitation is what they have been doing for the last 40 years and have a clientele to kill for, but like you said the older ones buy...

BTW, know advertising folks in both countries...what for? lemme know, maybe i can help...

Strategies for a brand that starts at 40k, versus the gilis/kiahs of the world who start at 5k...a brand that's for the youth but a special upper crusty layer of 'em. Nice niche TG, trying to figure if there's a market in the niche...

Need help with a pitch for a super premium jewellery brand (diamonds) aimed at the upwardly living 'youth'; not the bulgari/cartier types, but just under from a lay person's positioning perspective. Strategies done in other markets would be great; any help appreciated. Thanks in advance

Check out MTVTravelgurubackpackholidays community on orkut...depends on the brand really, people die to be a part of something that a Jeep or Harley would do...etc. Rest is slightly overt but still not in your face...check Start a Conversation (SAC) on Orkut as well...
